Thulimbah State School is a school where individualised development goes beyond the classroom. We have a solid school community with a positive and collaborative culture. Students and staff share a strong relationship and mutual respect is evident in our interactions, communications and behaviours.
We understand the importance of a holistic approach to education and incorporate academic approaches together with sporting, artistic, cultural, social and emotional aspects of our curriculum. We proudly boast being the only state school in our district to offer Japanese as a language. In our inclusive classroom of Prep to year 6 students engage in active learning and building independent skills for life long learning.
The strong culture of our school promotes ownership of learning and the ideal of being a lifelong learner. We help students to identify their strengths and interests to become active members of the school community and beyond. Our approach to teaching and learning is innovative and we proactively incorporate technologies to enhance student citizenship and future oriented skills.
We are a proud and welcoming school.
