On Thursday 18th April, Thulimbah State School students took a bus trip to the Stanthorpe RSL to view the ANZAC Day display held there.
It was a great chance for students to learn more about life as a soldier during the First and Second World Wars, and to see pictures of all the different planes and machines.
There were models of the old-fashioned uniforms, and everyone loved being able to try on the old hats.
There were ammunition shells and old first aid kits and so many more artifacts to explore.
A huge thank you to the Stanthorpe RSL for putting on the display and orgainsing the bus.
